Very sad. You should read the post at the top of Joe.My.God right now about the financial troubles the Ali Forney center in NYC is having too, and forced to turn people away from shelter.
This is such a sad story. But where is the Catholic Church here? When are they going to reach out to young people like this? I read about Archbishop Nienstedt in Minnesota refusing to give communion to gay students and it makes me angry. Have any bishops spoken up yet against bullying of gay kids? Have any bishops spoken up about youth suicides?
